Mobility in smart cities has been an important topic in the last few decades since the global life forces people to gain advantages against complexity of city life. The dynamics of the cities have to be analysed deeply to provide efficient solutions for the citizens. Intelligent transport systems and applications are the backbone of urban mobility for the future generations. In order to learn the good applications from the most mobile cities in all around the world, some cities were selected to analyse deeply with their strategies and implementations. The cities were selected considering their locations, population density and different perspectives. These cities are Singapore, Curitiba from Brazil, Zurich from Switzerland, Johannesburg from South Africa and New York City from United States. Their approaches constitute the framework of urban mobility for the other cities. The framework was done at the end of our analysis in order to help undeveloped cities to transform their cities into new one or helps to improve mobility level even for developed cities. The main elements of urban mobility are explained in a deep analysis.
