Abstract
In this thesis, carried out at the Radiation Detectors and low noise Electronics Laboratory of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, new SDD detectors with CUBE pre-amplifiers, for X-ray spectroscopy applications, especially for SIDDHARTA project, are described. This technology allows to achieve better results than the ones obtained with the last technology. The research activity includes the experimental characterization of the individual detectors and detectors arrays, and the design of new modules of arrays.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
