Today the worker role in the factories is thought to increase and optimize the production performances. The traditional manufacture puts tasks at the center of the production system and the worker role is passive. The workplaces of the future will be worker-centric instead task-centric. We need to focus our attention on the workers to create workplaces that fit to their needs. In a worker-centric factory is the job that suits the skills, the experience and the features of each worker. On the other hand, a worker centric system is useful to improve the knowledge and the capabilities of workers regardless of age and role. The core of the project is to design and develop a job allocator tool in which the human dimension is a key factor. The job allocator allows to assign tasks and jobs to the resources in a different way. How is possible to go from a traditional task-centric production to a worker centric production? First of all we have to start from a deep knowledge of the workers. We have to study and analyze employees needs and collect the data. This information becomes evaluation parameters to build the worker history and through these data will be possible to better know the worker and to forecast the future needs, for example trainings. The tasks will be allocated according to the "best available resource" to perform that given asset. The overall purpose of this research work is to increase our understanding of human centric organization in order to improve the productivity rate and the workers integration in the social environment.

Abstract
The overall purpose of this research work is to increase our understanding of human centric organization in order to improve the productivity rate and the workers integration in the social environment.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
