Tea is a very popular beverage that has been consumed all around world. Many people still take drinking tea as a way of the ancient tradition or a symbol of the cultural ritual. With the high pace of modern life, the tea consumption has been developing in a diversified means. Young generation, nowadays, also starts to be fond of it. The traditional way of slow drinking, however, cannot fully meet their needs. The appearance of the form of instant tea, tea bags, and tea powder, which has characteristics of safety, convenience, nutrition and health, becomes to be welcomed. Tea products has a tendency towards fast-moving consumer goods thanks to the advancement of science and technology as well as the transition of the present-day lifestyle. Meanwhile, tea wares also change over time in correspondence with consumer behaviors. How it could be applied to the product design for innovation to satisfy various kinds of needs, including the function, aesthetics and the experience of drinking tea, how to build a new scenario of tea drinking for the young people, how to involve suitable tea wares into the new scenario and how could be helping the young people make their own decision and achieve their new experience by product design through the serialized and genealogical products will be the major focus in the discussion.
