Scent. Esperienze olfattive

This thesis is intended to deal with the in-between urban spaces, that draw the third contemporary landscape. In particular, we analyzed a small place in the city of Milan. Carefully we analyzed the cultural geography of the flows, characteristics, history and meanings contained in it, even in terms of landscape design. The final project purpose is to safeguard the values of the place by wrapping the viewer in a multitude of olfactory experiences in this small green lung.

La tesi tratta gli spazi urbani interstiziali, spazi che disegnano il terzo paesaggio della contemporaneità. In particolare si è analizzato un piccolo luogo all'interno della città di Milano. E' stata eseguita un'attenta analisi della geografia culturale, dei flussi, delle caratteristiche, della storia e dei significati in esso contenuti, anche in termini di progettazione del verde. Il progetto finale mira a salvaguardare i valori del luogo avvolgendo il fruitore in una moltitudine di esperienze olfattive in questo piccolo polmone verde.
