Restauro e valorizzazione del Forte Degenfeld (Pastrengo, VR)

This thesis has as its object the recovery of a strong Austrian situated in the hamlet of Piovezzano all 'inside of the City of Pastrengo. The interest in this topic has emerged during the internship at the technical department within the City of Pastrengo. And is interest of the city restore and recover the building in order to make it available to the community. For this reason I made a proposal for the restoration and enhancement of Fort Degenfeld through the implementation of: • Space for museum documentation and enhancement historical and cultural of Pastrengo and its forts; • Spaces for exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, to promote the area of Pastrengo; • Dedicated spaces for recreational activities and entertainment; • Associations of weapon and volunteer working in the area of Pastrengo; The path followed has analyzed the territory of the Municipality of Pastrengo so that they can verify the potential of the area from the point of view of the roads. A chapter of the thesis has narrated the historical events that led to the construction of this fort, and those neighboring the defensive system of Verona. After analyzing the Master Plan so as to frame the strong from the regulatory point of view, we proceeded to the description of the strong through planimetric and photographic documentation of the status quo. Guidelines have been indicated for the restoration and inserted destinations d 'use of space, the total size, a rough estimate of the costs of the works and sources of funding. An integral part of this paper is the 'list and the definition of the economic and cultural values ​​both general and specific to the construction that justify and support such an investment especially economical for the city. At the conclusion have been reported cases of study of forts inside which were made historical or archaeological museums, galleries, spaces for exhibitions and events and catering areas that can be a starting point for the restoration and enhancement of Forte Degenfeld.

La presente tesi ha come oggetto il recupero di un forte austriaco collocato nella frazione di Piovezzano all' interno del Comune di Pastrengo. L'interesse per tale argomento è scaturito durante il tirocinio presso l' ufficio tecnico all'interno del Comune di Pastrengo. E' infatti interesse di quest' ultimo restaurare e recuperare tale costruzione al fine di renderla disponibile per la collettività. Per questo motivo ho realizzato una proposta di recupero e valorizzazione del Forte Degenfeld attraverso la realizzazione di: • Spazi museali per la documentazione e valorizzazione storico-culturale di Pastrengo e dei suoi Forti; • Spazi dedicati ad attività espositive, permanenti e temporanee, di promozione del territorio di Pastrengo; • Spazi dedicati per attività ludiche e spettacoli; • Sedi di associazioni d' arma e di volontariato operanti nel territorio di Pastrengo; Il percorso seguito ha analizzato il territorio del Comune di Pastrengo in modo tale da poter verificare le potenzialità della zona anche dal punto di vista della viabilità. Un capitolo della tesi ha narrato gli avvenimenti storici che hanno portato alla costruzione di questo forte, di quelli limitrofi e del sistema difensivo veronese. Dopo aver analizzato il Piano regolatore in modo tale da inquadrare il forte dal punto di vista normativo si è proceduto alla descrizione del forte attraverso documentazioni planimetriche e fotografiche dello stato di fatto. In seguito sono state indicate le linee guida per il restauro ed inserite le destinazioni d' uso degli spazi,i dati dimensionali complessivi , una stima di massima dei costi dei lavori e le fonti di finanziamento. Parte integrante di questo elaborato è l' elenco e la definizione dei valori economico-culturali sia generali sia specifici che interessano la costruzione che giustificano e supportano un tale investimento soprattutto economico per il Comune . A conclusione sono stati riportati casi studio di forti restaurati al cui interno sono stati realizzati musei storici o archeologici, gallerie fotografiche,spazi per esposizioni e manifestazioni ed aree di ristorazione che possono essere uno spunto per il recupero e valorizzazione del Forte Degenfeld.
