This thesis is based on research about the abandoned Nicosia International Airport. The Terminal Building of Nicosia (Lefkosia) International Airport, is a masterpiece of modern movement with a unique story. It has impressive architectural characteristics and a high risk of demolition; a victim of a war, of its abandonment and the time; leading to its’ "slow decline". I studied the history of Lefkosias’ airport and its surrounding area during the past and nowadays. I focused on the main building (Terminal Building) and its architectural importance, considering its life and its current situation and investigating the possibilities of resurrecting the building back to life, both to preserve its importance today as an important modernist monument and to remind its value for the upcoming generations.
