The thesis is about the territorial communication, particularly the communication about Portugal. The first part is a research about the territorial branding and territorial marketing. The research work is composed by a territorial research, an analysis about the story and values of Portugal and how it communicates as a country. It is also analysed the way that Portugal and his competitors communicates, which are Italy, Spain, France and Croatia. An investigation is performed about the Italian citizens, about their summer holidays and their knowledge about Portugal. Among those interviews it is understood that Portugal needs a strong identity that represents and publicizes the Portuguese territory and its heritage in foreign countries, especially in Italy. The project of the thesis is a communication campaign about Portugal. This campaign has the aim of publicizing the Italian tourism in Portugal, by valuing the Portuguese territory. The communication project is the realization of an advertisement campaign, through the creation of a promotional brand that broadcasts the analysed values. This brand and all its advertisement are made through the analysis of the 5 senses. A representation of Portugal through the 5 senses.
La tesi riguarda la comunicazione territoriale, in particolare la comunicazione del Portogallo. La parte iniziale è una ricerca sul branding e sul marketing territoriale. Il lavoro di ricerca è composto da una parte di ricerca sul territorio, un’ analisi della storia e dei valori del Portogallo e di come comunica il paese. Viene analizzato il modo in cui comunicano il Portogallo e i suoi competitor, tra i quali sono stati scelti la Spagna, l’Italia, la Francia e la Croazia. Viene svolta un’indagine ai cittadini italiani sulle loro vacanze estive e la loro conoscenza sul Portogallo. Questa analisi ha portato a capire che il Portogallo ha bisogno di un’identità forte che pubblicizzi il territorio e patrimonio portoghese all’estero. Il progetto della tesi è una campagna di comunicazione sul Portogallo. Questa campagna ha come obiettivo di pubblicizzare il turismo italiano in Portogallo, valorizzando il territorio portoghese. Il progetto di comunicazione è la realizzazione di una campagna pubblicitaria, attraverso la creazione di una marca promozionale che trasmette i valori analizzati. Questa marca e tutta la sua comunicazione attorno sono realizzate attraverso l’analisi dei cinque sensi. Una rappresentazione del Portogallo attraverso i 5 sensi.
