Il monitoraggio del black carbon nelle stazioni di misura della qualità dell’aria a Milano

Black Carbon is an air pollutant produced by the combustion processes. It presents optical property that define it such us the absorption of electromagnetic radiation in the visible spectrum. Thanks to the definition of carbon black they have been developed instruments for the measuring of black carbon but they present artifacts that can not be neglected. There are algorithms for the correction of the measurement of the concentration of black carbon and they were applied for the measurement of the years 2014 and 2015 in the measurement stations of Milano Marche, Milano and Milano Senate Pascal. There are also the relationship between black carbon and the meteorological parameters of greater importance and with other atmospheric pollutants that have the same sources.

Il Black Carbon è un inquinante atmosferico prodotto da processi di combustione. Presenta prorietà ottiche che lo definiscono, come l'assorbimento della radiazione elettromagnetica nello spettro del visibile. Sfruttando la definizione di black carbon si sono sviluppati degli strumenti di misura che presentano degli artefatti che non possono essere trascurati. Sono stati applicati degli algoritmi di correzione alle misure di concentrazione di black carbon relativi agli anni 2014 e 2015 nelle stazioni di misura di Milano Marche, Milano Senato e Milano Pascal. Sono state valutate le relazioni che il black carbon presenta con i parametri meteorologici di maggiore importanza e con altri inquinanti atmosferici che hanno come sorgenti processi di combustione.
