Milano celata. Un sistema transmediale per comunicare Milano attraverso leggende e misteri

Italy is a country of secular history, a troubled history of conquests, invasions and domination of very different populations that left their indelible mark. The big cities have changed profoundly over centuries, these changes are rooted in the history of the city, as several layers tell us what it was, creating different souls that live together with each other and that have the same dignity to be told. There are, however, stories that are told by themselves, which are in front of our eyes and you can not help but admire them; There are others that need to be discovered. Big urban centers are often so saturated with history that they end up communicating only the outer layer, the most obvious one. Milan is one of these. Like every big city, Milan has its secrets and its mysteries that have long gone into the history of the city, transforming into memories and legends. The idea of this thesis is to go into this thick plot of stories and mysteries to bring them to light, thanks to the hundreds of historical and historiographical texts that deal with the theme. The aim is therefore to extract these stories from the pages of the books to make them visible directly on the territory, and to provide the visitor with the appropriate media and tools to show him how incredible, unusual, imaginative, and sometimes obscure, lies in those places that are frequented daily.

L’Italia è un paese dalla storia secolare, una storia travagliata fatta di conquiste, invasioni e dominazioni di popolazioni molto differenti tra di loro, che hanno lasciato il proprio segno indelebile. Le grandi città si sono trasformate profondamente nel corso dei secoli, questi cambiamenti si sono radicati all’interno della storia della città, come diverse stratificazioni ci raccontano ciò che è stato, andando a creare diverse anime che convivono tra di loro e che hanno la stessa dignità di essere raccontate. Ci sono però storie che si raccontano da sole, che sono li evidenti davanti ai nostri occhi e non si può fare a meno di ammirarle; ce ne sono altre invece che per scoprirle bisogna scavare un po’. I grandi centri urbani sono spesso così saturi di storia che finiscono per comunicare solo lo strato esteriore, quello più evidente. Milano è una di queste. Come ogni grande città Milano ha i suoi segreti e i suoi misteri, che nel tempo si sono andati a intessere all’interno della storia della città, trasformandosi in ricordi e leggende. L’idea di questa tesi è quella di addentrarsi in questa fitta trama di racconti e di misteri per portarli alla luce, grazie alle centinaia di testi storici e storiografici che trattano del tema. L’obiettivo è quindi quello di estrarre questi racconti dalle pagine dei libri per renderli visibili direttamente sul territorio, sotto l’occhio del visitatore, e di fornirgli i supporti e gli strumenti adeguati per mostrare all’utente finale quanto di incredibile, insolito, fantasioso, e alle volte oscuro, si nasconde in quei luoghi che vengono frequentati quotidianamente.
