It is sometimes a challenge to gain access to specific skill assessments and training programs for children with special needs. In particular for children with neurodevelopmental disorder. My thesis work has consisted of developing an application thanks to a co-design process involving therapists and children with neurodevelopmental disorder. The application aims to offer an alternative and more accessible solution to the Frostig's program, it focuses on the eye-motor coordination section of the program. The first step of the co-design process consists of a succession of meetings with therapists and children with neurodevelopmental disorder. These meetings were conducted in order to define the subject and gather its requirements, needs and constraints. The first prototype obtained is a touch-ready game on tablets called WAYZ. It is highly customisable and comes with innovative features such as sensitive feedbacks and a gamification element. A first exploratory study - conducted in a Milanese therapeutic center - aims to compare the game prototype with analogous paper activities. It is a qualitative study focusing on likeability and usability. A second exploratory study is intended to evaluate the different features of the prototype. The results of the studies will enable improvements in the prototype and facilitate its integration within the therapeutic center activities.

Abstract
It is sometimes a challenge to gain access to specific skill assessments and training programs for children with special needs. In particular for children with neurodevelopmental disorder. It is a qualitative study focusing on likeability and usability. A second exploratory study is intended to evaluate the different features of the prototype.
