The present thesis work analyses the theme of energy building renovation of a public office building in Bolzano (IT), taking in consideration an innovative perspective in evaluating the economic balance. Starting from a wide literature research about the main previous researches on thermal comfort, it gets deeper into the economic energy-related benefit derived from an energy requalification, and tries to give a value to it. The observations are then applied to the five-floor case study that is a delicate asset due to its central public function and to some discomfort conditions in the last floor. This consideration fosters the detailed design of a two-floor extension realized on top of the asset, considering energy consumption, structural and seismic stability, together with an economic feasibility plan of the solution proposed. Eventually, different economic scenarios are analysed with an innovative approach and thermal comfort benefits for the office employee are included in the economic balance, giving an overall new perspective of the real value of a renovation.

Abstract
Eventually, different economic scenarios are analysed with an innovative approach and thermal comfort benefits for the office employee are included in the economic balance, giving an overall new perspective of the real value of a renovation.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
