The context of global economic crisis has brought important consequences for the economic management of families. People are pushed to put aside their savings as soon as possible, so that they can cover expenses more quickly and allow the survival of their family. The new digital tools that allow you to manage your economic situation directly from home (digital / home banking) and the possibility of investing in the stock market through a simple application (online trading) encourage interaction and investment, giving the possibility to customers (of any age and with any degree of financial awareness) to perform all actions independently. The great ease of access of these tools, together with an apparent ease of use and a poor financial literacy of Italian young people and adults, increases the risk of doing wrong actions or with unforeseen consequences on one’s finances. In fact, in our country financial education in the school context is currently very undervalued, although it is a very important resource for young people to acquire greater awareness in the administration of their assets as adults, in addition to reducing the risk of being deceived or make mistakes in financial choices. Starting from these premises and noting how social networks, in particular YouTube, are tools that children also use as a support to the study and source of information, it was decided to integrate the need to train tomorrow’s adults in economic and financial matters and their propensity to use social networks. The thesis then sees the construction of a digital strategy focused on a YouTube channel entirely dedicated to young people of high school age (14-18 years), to communicate them, with the typical language of YouTubers, the basis for a proper awareness of economic management, through a social strategy that leads them to take an interest in the real necessity and importance of this subject, transmitting through them the knowledge also to reference adults, parents and grandparents.

Abstract
The thesis then sees the construction of a digital strategy focused on a YouTube channel entirely dedicated to young people of high school age (14-18 years), to communicate them, with the typical language of YouTubers, the basis for a proper awareness of economic management, through a social strategy that leads them to take an interest in the real necessity and importance of this subject, transmitting through them the knowledge also to reference adults, parents and grandparents.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
