The internship has been performed as a business analyst in the Group Marketing of at Assicurazioni Generali’s Head Office. Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A is one of the major players at the Insurance market, the Group operates in over 60 countries through more than 400 companies and over 41 thousand employees. The position was located in the Head of Office of Generali Group at Milano, in Group Marketing within the “Strategic Marketing, Planning and Operational Effectiveness” team, and lasted for one year from 4. Feb.2018-5. Feb.2019. The goal of the was to implement performance metrics to assess ROI of marketing investments, and collect and validate data related to the metrics and report the final KPIs. Accordingly, one the main tasks during this internship was involved with delivering the total “number of customers” for yearly Non-Financial Statement report. There are some defined steps, which have been explained completely in the report, to deliver it. On the other hand, some challenges have been identified for this process, so the purpose of this report is to provide relative solutions to those issues. As for any data-driven report (non-financial statement), it is important that the reported data to be accurate, without any discrepancy and reliable. So that the aim of this report is to solve the issues related to these dimensions. The purpose of these suggestion is to make the process efficient, save times of the user and decrease the mistakes’ rate by automizing the manual activities and designing the relevant excel spreadsheets In summary, the next chapter of report is dedicated to the literature review. Chapter 3 explains the business analyst intern’s role and her position in the organization. Chapter 4 elaborates the challenges found in the process and suggests solution to them. Chapter 5 draws a conclusion from the report. Finally, chapter 6 contains a table of references.
Lo stage è stato svolto come analista aziendale nel Marketing di Gruppo presso la sede di Assicurazioni Generali. Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A è uno dei principali attori del mercato assicurativo, il Gruppo opera in oltre 60 paesi attraverso oltre 400 aziende e oltre 41 mila dipendenti. La posizione è stata individuata nel Responsabile del Gruppo Generali di Milano, nel Gruppo Marketing all'interno del team "Strategic Marketing, Planning and OperationEfficiveness", ed è durata un anno dal 4 febbraio 2017. Feb.2019. L'obiettivo era quello di implementare le metriche di prestazione per valutare il ROI degli investimenti di marketing, raccogliere e convalidare i dati relativi alle metriche e riportare i KPI finali. Di conseguenza, uno dei compiti principali durante questo tirocinio è stato quello di fornire il "numero totale di clienti" per la relazione annuale di rendicontazione non finanziaria.
