On 17 October 2019, Lebanon has witnessed the start of a massive series of nationwide peaceful protests, which was considered a new footprint in its history. During the past decades the Lebanese government have been occupied by corrupt politicians who have been stealing the money from public institutions and using their power to make more money; while denying the citizens the least of their rights such as proper education, hospitalization, and nepotism free job selection. Many Lebanese have freed themselves from their political and sectarian extremity uniting as one nation after they were brutally divided on social, political, and religious levels. In our day & age, social media takes a prominent place in our lives, as we aim to get the right information from the right sources in the fastest possible way. In fact, because of social media, through the social activists and slacktivists of the Lebanese community, this revolution came to life. Usually uprisings and revolutions are lead by parties who communicate through regular phones calls and letters. However with the advancements of technology and birth of social media platforms communicating instantly is much easier and moves can be announced with utmost ease.
Il 17 ottobre 2019, il Libano ha assistito all'inizio di una serie massiccia di proteste pacifiche a livello nazionale, che è stata considerata una nuova impronta nella sua storia. Negli ultimi decenni il governo libanese è stato occupato da politici corrotti che hanno rubato i soldi alle istituzioni pubbliche e usando il loro potere per fare più soldi; pur negando il minimo ai cittadini dei loro diritti come un'istruzione adeguata, un ricovero in ospedale e un lavoro gratuito in nepotismo selezione. Molti libanesi si sono liberati dal loro politico e estremità settaria che si unisce come una nazione dopo essere stata brutalmente divisa livelli sociali, politici e religiosi. Ai nostri giorni, i social media occupano un posto di rilievo nella nostra vita, come puntiamo a ottenere le informazioni giuste dalle fonti giuste nel modo più veloce possibile. In infatti, grazie ai social media, attraverso gli attivisti sociali e gli slacktivisti del Comunità libanese, questa rivoluzione ha preso vita. Di solito insurrezioni e le rivoluzioni sono guidate da parti che comunicano tramite normali telefonate e lettere. Tuttavia con i progressi della tecnologia e la nascita del sociale le piattaforme multimediali che comunicano all'istante sono molto più facili e le mosse possono essere annunciato con la massima facilità.
