This work presents the analysis of the vulnerability of Palazzo Rampinelli, a historical building, located in the centre of Brescia and subject to protection according to the Legislative Decree 42/2004. The need to verify the current state of the building originates from the necessity to restructure and renovate indoor environments in such a way as to make them fit for residential use. The verification has been conducted in compliance with the life-saving limit (SLV) through the 3MURI commercial software, which allows to implement a non-linear static analysis, also called pushover analysis. It has also been considered interesting to carry out the LV1 survey, which, being based on a series of geometric and mechanical parameters, permits a comparison with the LV3 analysis. This comparison actually grants more complete data. An LV2 assessment on individual macroelements has also been carried out in order to verify local collapse mechanisms, a prerogative necessary for the overall assessment. Once the seismic vulnerability of the building has been assessed, some improvement measures have been proposed, evaluating their contribution to the resistance of the structure and their intrusiveness towards the property. To complete the work, the wooden ceilings have been studied, and interventions to limit the deflections at the serviceability limit state have been suggested.
Nell’elaborato si propone l’analisi di vulnerabilità sismica di Palazzo Rampinelli, un edificio storico - situato nel centro di Brescia e sottoposto a tutela ai sensi del D.Lgs 42/2004. Il lavoro di verifica dello stato attuale del manufatto nasce dalla necessità di ristrutturare e rinnovare gli ambienti interni in modo tale da renderli agibili per un uso residenziale. In particolare, la verifica è condotta nei riguardi del limite di salvaguardia della vita (SLV) tramite il software commerciale 3MURI che consente di implementare un’analisi statica non lineare, detta anche analisi pushover. Si è inoltre ritenuto interessante svolgere per completezza l’indagine LV1, basata su una serie di parametri geometrici e meccanici, per ottenere un confronto con l’analisi LV3. È stata svolta una valutazione LV2 sui singoli macroelementi per verificare meccanismi locali di collasso, prerogativa necessaria alla valutazione globale. Una volta definita la vulnerabilità sismica dell’edificio vengono proposti alcuni interventi di miglioramento, valutando il loro contributo alla resistenza della struttura e la loro invadenza nei confronti del bene. A coronamento del lavoro vengono studiati i solai lignei e si propongono degli interventi per limitarne la freccia allo stato limite d’esercizio.
