In this thesis we study the problem of representing the replication error committed by a trader when hedging a financial derivative. This error is open to different representations, depending on the specific assumptions on the model used by traders to simulate the dynamics of the market on the and from what appears to be the actual evolution of the underlying, or its "real" dynamics. In particular, after a thorough review of the relevant literature, we derive a representation formula in the framework of stochastic volatility models with jumps.

Abstract
In this thesis we study the problem of representing the replication error committed by a trader when hedging a financial derivative. This error is open to different representations, depending on the specific assumptions on the model used by traders to simulate the dynamics of the market on the and from what appears to be the actual evolution of the underlying, or its "real" dynamics. In particular, after a thorough review of the relevant literature, we derive a representation formula in the framework of stochastic volatility models with jumps.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
