Il precario equilibrio tra rifugio e prigione nell'ambiente domestico. Case temporanee

The practice of living has man as its protagonist and the house as its primary object, a mere architectural exercise that through this practice is transformed into a space of life, affections, sensations, and perceptions. The domestic environment becomes, during our journey, a fixed anchor to clutch to, the place of recollection and memories that define the man's path; a generator of happy and not happy relationships between bodies and objects, a mirror of identity fragments of the one who inhabits it and, above all, lives it. However, in this way, the house can take on various meanings, both positive and negative, which unfold and act towards the user clearly and decisively, sometimes generating intimacy and pro- tection, sometimes alienation and discord. These feelings must be challenged by the possibility of obtaining a small personal space, a narrow one, where to feel free and protected. These sensations have been even more amplified by the historical period that we are going through and which, unfortunately, has imposed inevitable confinement within the domestic walls. These become friends and enemies. For this reason, any desired or craved movement has been denied. "Temporary Homes" originates from the physiological need and from the human hope to return to travel and discover the world in an inevitably different way. Through a spread hotel consisting of a few and targeted rooms, users will have the possibility of escaping from their home environment, finding elsewhere an answer to their needs and their necessities, small corners of the world in which to feel at home, wherever they wish.

La pratica dell'abitare ha come protagonista l'uomo e come og- getto principale la casa, mero esercizio architettonico che attra- verso essa si trasforma in luogo di vita, di affetti, di sensazioni e percezioni. L'ambiente domestico diviene, nel corso del cammino di ognuno di noi, un'ancora fissa a cui aggrapparsi, sede della me- moria e dei ricordi che definiscono il percorso dell'uomo, genera- tore di relazioni più o meno felici tra corpi e oggetti, specchio di frammenti identitari di colui che lo abita e, soprattutto, lo vive. In questo senso la casa può però assumere diversi significati, positivi e negativi, i quali si dispiegano e agiscono nei confronti dell'utente in maniera netta e decisa generando talvolta intimità e protezione, talvolta alienazione e discordanza, sensazioni che devono esse- re contrastate dalla possibilità di ricavarsi anche un piccolo spazio personale, ristretto, in cui sentirsi liberi e protetti. Queste sensazio- ni si sono amplificate ancor più a seguito del periodo storico che si sta attraversando e che, purtroppo, ha imposto una reclusione forzata all'interno delle mura domestiche, amiche e nemiche, per cui ogni spostamento pensato e desiderato è stato negato. "Case Temporanee" ha origine dalla necessità fisiologica e dalla speranza umana di tornare a viaggiare, in modo inevitabilmente differente, alla scoperta del mondo. Attraverso un hotel diffuso co- stituito da poche e mirate stanze, gli utenti avranno la possibilità di evadere dall'ambiente domestico ritrovando però, seppur altrove, risposta ai loro bisogni e alle loro necessità, angoli di mondo in cui sentirsi a casa, ovunque essi desiderino.
