Over the years, technologies have been developed that are useful for measuring the visual field, which, in the presence of certain diseases or after surgery, can be altered. Automated perimetry is usually used, which allows qualitative and quantitative assessment of the visual field. The most used machine is the Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer (HFA), a bulky and sometimes uncomfortable instrument for the patient, but from which reliable results are obtained. In recent years, the use of virtual reality glasses, to be used as an alternative to HFA, is becoming more and more widespread and the present study wanted to collect, through literature articles, examples regarding the application of this new testing method. field of view. Finally, an alternative to the previously mentioned methods will be proposed, which involves the simultaneous use of HFA and VR glasses.

Abstract
Finally, an alternative to the previously mentioned methods will be proposed, which involves the simultaneous use of HFA and VR glasses.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
