Increasing digitization has raised new challenges in terms of sustainability, both environmentally and socially. In this context, Interaction Design discipline assumes a crucial role in shaping the impact of digital, and it is, therefore, imperative that designers acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to address these issues consciously. Although the concept of Sustainable Interaction Design (SID) was introduced more than fifteen years ago and research on this topic is now well established, the integration of this discipline into university curricula still needs to be improved. This research examines the current state of Sustainable Interaction Design teaching, investigating how universities integrate this topic into their curricula and what educational approaches are emerging. Through a literature review and analysis of four academic courses on the discipline, conducted through interviews with lecturers, this thesis provides an overview of the main discussions in research and how they are reflected or answered in the educational context. The results offer some insights for developing new instructional models that could facilitate the integration of sustainability into future academic Interaction Design curricula.

Abstract
The results offer some insights for developing new instructional models that could facilitate the integration of sustainability into future academic Interaction Design curricula.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
