The aim of the thesis is to study a stationary fluid-structure interaction problem between a viscous incompressible fluid, namely the wind blowing into a wind tunnel, and an elastic structure representing an airfoil with one endpoint fixed to a wall of the wind tunnel and the other one left free to move. The 3D fluid domain is bounded, simply connected and, because of the presence of the edges and vertices of the wind tunnel itself, Lipschitz. The fluid is modelled by the stationary Navier-Stokes equations subject to inflow/outflow conditions. The solid structure instead is modelled by a 1D beam equation, with a load density involving the force exerted by the fluid on the structure and, thereby, may vary its position. In a regime governed by small boundary data, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the strong solution to the PDE-ODE coupled system, together with its Lipschitz continuity with respect to the boundary datum.

Abstract
In a regime governed by small boundary data, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the strong solution to the PDE-ODE coupled system, together with its Lipschitz continuity with respect to the boundary datum.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
