Abstract
A fully integrated switched-capacitor power amplifier (SCPA) utilizes switched-capacitor techniques in polar transmitter architectures. It operates on the envelope of a non-constant envelope modulated signal as an RF-DAC in order to amplify the signal efficiently. The simulated maximum output power and efficiency are 15dBm and 34%, respectively. When amplifying a 3.6GHz WiMAX OFDM carrier, the average output power and average efficiency are 7dBm and 15%, respectively.File allegati
