The thesis deals with the conversion of the former Centrale del Latte di Milano aims to the needs of Bocconi University, who has recently acquired, for the request of its directors in the campus area is lacking and it is about: student residences, HQ for the directionality of the University, green areas and usable by students and by the city. The area as a whole consists of circa50.000 m2 green areas and the project proposes a total of approximately 16,500 m2 with 20,000 m2 of parkland to the south beyond the ring road project esterna.Il student residence provides a GFA of approximately 31,000 m2 . Through historical analysis and study of the urban context, we have identified two areas in the project area; on the north, near Bocconi university, with the new Head Quarter (HQ) in which converge all integrated functions and development for the University, and those for the city, (Spin Off, auditoriums, laboratories, offices and student services such as libraries, internet point, citizenship services such as bars, restaurants, shopping technology, clothing, minimarket, rehearsal rooms for music), are placed two underground parking (basement HQ), who will serve all of the buildings, in the south the residential student is literally "immersed" in urban design. The area of the center of Milan milk has been redesigned with the intention of creating a living space available to university students and citizens. Hence the choice of placing the uses and commercial service on the ground floor. The project area includes internal paths for pedestrian use. We wanted to link the university with the new railway station Tibaldi. Near the project area will be an underground metropolitanaMM6, giving the area characteristic of the nodal point of trade flows. The goal is to propose a solution of buildings typologically defined as HQ, due to the type of the block to double the Milanese court, and residence: this results in a new approach to the understanding of unstable equilibrium, a strong presence in the city today.
