Cultural center near the holy place Manjili-Ata on the southern shore of lake Issyk-Kul

Abstract The holy place “Manjili-Ata” in southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake is very important to the people that live in these areas. It is a place where people pray for wellness and ask from holy spirits for what they couldn’t have. Such as: offspring, health, wealth, fortune, etc. There are eleven springs and each of them have its own meanings, properties and features. It is interesting how two springs, with the distance between them of one meter, have different taste and color. These and many other facts with rich historical heritage make this place special, important, different, mysterious, and spiritual. Site and project should be strongly connected to each other and they cannot survive without supporting each other. Project or architecture is made by people, it is important that people have to identify themselves on the site. And through various element such as history, geography, philosophy etc. they have to understand where they are, why and how long. Site, in another word is place, has a spirit and it depends on the environment. Understanding place is very important, because without knowing the site it is very hard to dwell in this environment. Identifying yourself in space, so as in place improves the understanding of human existence. Very well thought and built project or architectural monument can be psychologically readable and philosophically right in between the environmental surroundings. A relationship of people and place are very important, because people are generators of life itself, and depending on their philosophical thinking or poetical believing the place and project can have identity and meaning or bad maintained ideology of place and life in whole One of the reasons why I chose this place for my project is that I want to improve the esthetical appearance of the buildings and architecture. Find an identity of this place that would match landscape and architecture. Second, my aim is to create a comfortable environment for international guests who visit the site every year and in many quantities. I think the recognition of the holy place, through my future proposal, is very important for development of human spirit and has possibility of economical growth in the region.

Astratto Il luogo santo "Manjili-Ata" in riva meridionale del lago di Issyk Kul è molto importante per le persone che vivono in queste aree. Si tratta di un luogo dove si prega per il benessere e chiedere dagli spiriti santi per quello che non potevano avere. Come ad esempio: prole, salute, ricchezza, fortuna, ecc Ci sono undici sorgenti e ciascuno di essi ha i suoi propri significati, proprietà e caratteristiche. La comprensione è posto molto importante, perché senza conoscere il sito è molto difficile rimanere in questo ambiente. Identificare se stessi nello spazio, così come al posto migliora la comprensione dell'esistenza umana. Molto ben pensato e costruito o progetto monumento architettonico può essere psicologicamente leggibile e filosoficamente proprio tra contesto ambientale.
