And the logical and natural consequence -no surprise- is the decline of the supersport bikes targature, one of the most affected by lower sales. A return to roots does not mean giving up the progress made in recent years, but looking back to retrieve what is good, indeed excellent, scooters and motorcycles still manage to give us.

“Back to basic” dicono gli americani, che è gente pratica, quando le cose sono confuse, quando si è andati oltre, anzi non si sa più dove parare. Insomma: “Torniamo ai fondamentali, alle cose certe. E niente fronzoli”. Oggi abbiamo moto bellisssime nella linea, fantastiche nelle prestazioni, incredibili nella tecnologia, ma sono anche moto che costano care quando le compri e quando le usi, non proprio alla portata di tutti e di chi vuole cominciare a entrare nel nostro mondo. E la logica e naturale conseguenza -non è una sorpresa- è il calo delle targature delle supersportive, una delle categorie più colpite dalla riduzione delle vendite. Il ritorno alle origini non vuol dire rinunciare ai progressi fatti in questi anni, ma guardarsi indietro per recuperare quello che di buono, anzi di ottimo, riescono ancora a darci gli scooter e le moto.
