This thesis has the purpose to illustrate the study the performance of an innovative system for the transformation of the wave energy, called Energy Double System. The system has been patented by the Tecnomac Srl, and is constituted by a buoy coupled to a paddle to exploit the breaking waves energy. The study of the system was given to the DIIAR of Politecnico di Milano, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Brescia. The experimental campaign was conducted at the Laboratory of Hydraulics "Gaudenzio Fantoli" of Politecnico di Milano. In this paper, after an introduction to the existing systems and the basic theory of wave, will be presented the physical model of the system and the steps of the work carried out to achieve an optimal solution with the partial results and observations on the various parameters investigated.

Abstract
This thesis has the purpose to illustrate the study the performance of an innovative system for the transformation of the wave energy, called Energy Double System. The study of the system was given to the DIIAR of Politecnico di Milano, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Brescia. The experimental campaign was conducted at the Laboratory of Hydraulics "Gaudenzio Fantoli" of Politecnico di Milano. In this paper, after an introduction to the existing systems and the basic theory of wave, will be presented the physical model of the system and the steps of the work carried out to achieve an optimal solution with the partial results and observations on the various parameters investigated.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
