The aim of the present work is to evaluate, through a suitable software, a waste Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) system, by analyzing the characteristics of the incoming waste streams (amount/quality) in relation to the considered context. Besides, the main technical-economical issues of the thermal treatment system with energy recovery (Waste To Energy - WtE), located downstream the previous one, have been defined. Finally, an economic and financial analysis of the integrated system (MBT + WtE) has been developed, by considering the reference scenario and paying attention to the possibility to adapt the software in subject to the different areas and available technological options. This document has been developed in collaboration with Stefano Zannier (Mechanical Engineer and Waste to Energy Unit Manager of Daneco Impianti), tutor of the Company connected with the Polytechnic University of Milan for the intership finalized to draw up the master thesis.

Abstract
This document has been developed in collaboration with Stefano Zannier (Mechanical Engineer and Waste to Energy Unit Manager of Daneco Impianti), tutor of the Company connected with the Polytechnic University of Milan for the intership finalized to draw up the master thesis.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
