In this thesis it has been developed a general methodology to model systems where there is an interaction between a gas and an activated surface. The final aim is to optimize the operative conditions and to improve the global performances of the processes in exam. Such methodology has been successfully applied to several different processes with industrial interest.
In questa tesi è stata sviluppata una metodologia generale per la modellazione di sistemi in cui c'è un'interazione tra un gas e una superficie attivata. Lo scopo finale è di ottimizzare le condizioni operative dei processi in esame e di migliorarne le relative prestazioni. La metodologia è stata applicata con successo a più processi di interesse industriale.
