Exploring a new student life through the buildings in Bovisa

The thesis questions the role and evolution of architecture in the activities of students. The project aims to make a harmony in the activities of students, include working, studying, shopping, sports and recreation in Bovisa. Three urban strategies lead to the creation of a new connection between these three nodes, university, train station and Piazza of G. Bausan. The frist point is creating one square in front of university as one public gathering and connection place. Also in this piazza is one student plaza is located. The building is designed in a way that there is one square inside it. The second point is defining two specified walkthrough paths in the public square. One path is on the ground of square towards the plaza. The other path leads to the roof of the building and like this connects university and the train station. The third point is making the new system of multifunctional passages which pass through the buildings between University and Piazza of G. Bausan. By that a critical mass of people can walk to the plaza and university from different directions.
